ISWA YPG Career Talks Webinar Series
Online
12 October 2023
We are excited to announce a webinar series, “Career Talks | Navigating the Path of Waste Entrepreneurship”, an online session with accomplished waste entrepreneurs who will share their career paths, offer valuable advice, and address questions from aspiring young professionals.
This platform is a way to explore different waste management career options and expand your professional network.
Join us online on 12th of October 2023 at 14:00 – 15:00 CEST and meet our first speaker, Chris Fisher, Founder of The Cyclical Collective (TCC), a platform to incubate and nurture community initiatives underpinned by the philosophy of closed-loop design thinking and circularity.
As he shares his entrepreneurial journey, we will explore the complexities of the human condition and harness our gifts to return to an authentic connection to nature and her cyclical essence.
The webinar will be hosted via Zoom and we will send the Zoom meeting link to the registratns closer to the date.
ISWA YPG, with the support of UN-Habitat’s Waste Wise Cities Program, is thrilled to announce a call for best practices on creating zero-waste communities.
If your city or community has successfully implemented an initiative to reduce waste generation, increase recycling rates, or promote sustainable consumption, we want to hear from you! Your experiences can contribute to a larger knowledge-sharing effort that will help other cities and communities worldwide create more sustainable and waste-free environments.
The winning best practice shall be awarded 1000 EUROs and One year paid ISWA membership.
We’re searching for best practices that showcase innovative, effective, and replicable awareness and education initiatives that have achieved measurable outcomes.
To participate, download the template and submit your best practice with supporting materials such as educational materials, posters, flyers, videos, and pictures of the initiative implementation to ypg@iswa.org.
